I had the chance to visit my Friends in Oslo Norway during the ZMod Show this april. I wan't to share some pictures and experiences with the visitors of my website.

Saturday april 28

I've arrived in Oslo after a stop in Kopenhagen (Denmark) at 11 AM. I took the Airport Express to Zentralstation in Downtown Oslo. It's about a 20 Minutes ride with a very comfortable Train.

I catched a Taxi at the Zentralstation and after 5 Minutes I arrived at the Amundsen Hobbyshop where the Show was located. Torsja, Henrik and Hans gave me a warm welcome. I had my little Diorama with me that was build from my Friend John Cubbin.

As you can see the Diorama was covered with Styropor Flocks all over. (I've used this stuff to protect the Diorama)

Henrik organized a vaccum cleaner for me....

Hans Riddervold (Owner of AZL) shared his Table with me.

After cleaning up the Diroama, I took the chance to talk with Hans about feature releases from AZL. I can tell you stay tuned!!! Hans had also Drawings from the brass Passenger Cars. They will be released this summer and I'm 100% sure I'll catch the 12 Car Southern Pacific Daylight set.

Me, Torsja and Hans had a lot of fun!

Some pictures from my Table setup...

The Cars from my Friend in Portugal Álvaro

Different stuff from Rob Ray, Freudenreich and Dave Freehling.

Dave Freehlings stunning SP GP35. Of course weathered and a lot of BLMA and Handmade Details.

Not so easy to taking a photo of the tiny Cars. :-)

Torsja, took a lot of pictures.

After the first day of the show, we get on a ride with Torsja's Pickup.

Eating some Pizza with Friends.

Torsja and Henrik showed me some interesting parts of Oslo on this evening and after that I checked out in my Hotel. Of course I booked a Hotel near the Trainstation. The Hotel is on the right side, the Trainstation on the left.

This is the view from my Room at 5 AM Sundaymorning.

My Hotel was placed between the Zentralstation and the new Opera.

Because I woke up so early, I took my Camera and walked along the Harbor. Some very nice old Buildings and interesting things to explore, like the small Intermodal Yard.

Or this big old Industrie-Building.

This is the Harbor Toll Building.

The old part of the Trainstation with the Mc Donalds Restaurant inside of the Station.

I forgot to read the story about the Tiger on the Park. :-)

And as always, don't let you bicycle alone.

So, back to the Show (2nd Day) April 29

This are some random pictures from other exhibitors. Henrik and Rune with their Suitcase Layouts.

The Håkestad brother's displayed the cool and busy European style Layout.

Torja's Needle Eye Steamer on my Diorama

The Handmade Goose.

Some Pictures of my Rolling Stock on Torsja's Layout.

Of course I took the chance and bought the Milwaukee SD45 in Amundsens Store. Now my Freudenreich Hoppers have a matching Diesel.

Freudenreichs old Time Diesel Locomotive pulls some passenger Cars up the hill.

Zthek SW-1 pulling a Freudenreich PS-2 Hopper and a Robert Ray Gondola.

Pictures from the Zmod Modules...

My AZL SD75i with working Ditchlights from Oliver Passmann amazed a lot of people.

And at least some setup pictures...

To bad the wonderful weekend in Oslo past by very fast and I had to boxed up my Stuff.

For sure I'll com again next Year. Not only because the people up there are so friendly, also because the store has still a lot of rare AZL Items. :-)
